Scouting is a family-centered activity, with parents required and siblings encouraged to participate in den meetings and pack events.
Scouting America is committed to keeping all participants safe through comprehensive policies.
Every den has a requirement to review the Parents Youth Protection Guide, which provides essential information on child safety.
All adult leaders undergo background checks and complete Youth Protection Training every two years.
For more details, visit the Youth Protection page here or scan the QR code.
Each grade level in Cub Scouts works through 5-6 required adventures and 2 elective adventures each year, designed to build skills and character.
Most of these requirements are completed during den meetings, but a few involve activities at home with parents.
The themes of den meetings align with pack meetings, reinforcing what scouts learn in their dens.
Special events also happen outside of den and pack meetings. These include campouts, Mariners games, pumpkin patch trips, and various other activities.

Fundraising is crucial to ensuring Pack 564 can continue to offer quality programming without collecting dues from members.
We run two fundraisers: Brown Bear Car Wash Sales and Online Popcorn Sales.
Store car wash sales.
Online Popcorn.
Parents can also use Benevity if their employer supports it (more info coming soon).
Pack 564 is always looking for volunteers!
We are currently seeking a Fundraising Chair, a Quartermaster, and a volunteer to create the monthly newsletter.
You do not need to have storage space available to serve as Quartermaster, but we are also seeking storage space for pack equipment.
